Neat Story:
(old story from mtc) Well I have this funny story that happened a couple of weeks ago, not one of the more spiritual ones in the Referral Center (we get calls and blogs to investigators through computers and comercials) but I laughed pretty hard at it. So I was doing an outbound call to this african american lady in nevada to ask her if she received her free bible. Some guy answered and I could barely understand him but he said " ye hello?" so i did my lines and he was all "uh huh...." then nothing... so I thought he hung up on me as I sat there for like 15 secs with nothing then out of nowhere he yells " Yo D! yo mormon brothas on da phone!" then "WHAT!?" " yo mormon brotha! he on tha phone!" then a "ALRIGHT!".... I was dyin laughing let me tell ya...so despite me barely
understanding her heheh she told me about her bible church and she was ok with what we were sending her, I let her know where to come to when she has questions and she happily agreed... but I just thought that was hilarious. But besides that, with what happened to President Hinkley, I couldnt think of a better way or place to be than to hear the news of the prophets death right after we got done watching the joseph smith movie. It was very powerful as we sang there... and then again back at the residence hall. But the church goes on as it always will! Right? Thats right...
Now for a spiritual story!!!
Well I had another great week let me tell ya...I want to share an experience with you that happened this past monday but this was my friends not mine, I had a real good 30 min talk too but my friends was somethin else. I'll tell you mine later. It was a phone conversation and it was this man that asked if we believed in visions.... He said he had a vision of his own! he started by explaining that this man was leading him down this road with churches on all sides, at each one he would tell him "no not that one" until finally they came to this big white building with a star moon and sun on the side. My friend forwarded him the picture of the nauvoo temple and he said that was it! He said They went inside and everybody was wearing the same thing and he saw fours books on the table opened up, he told him about our 4 standard works and he was amazed!....Then they went through a door and entered a field with a pond in the middle and oxen standing around it. The man guiding him said "this is the way you must enter". He was able to explain it all perfectly and I knew I was witnessing a miracle!!. I know God will have his ways of finding the elect and I cant wait to get started in this great work in Argentina. Well I love you all and if you got any more questions or demands before I leave the mtc... do it quick lol. God speed....the work is true. Love ya
