Favorite Scripture:
Alma 56:47-48 Now they never had fought, yet they did not fear death; and they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives; yea, they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them. And they rehearsed unto me the words of their mothers, saying: We do not doubt our mothers knew it.

Neat Story:
O Desembargador Federal – In english it would be; the Federal Judge. When I was with Elder Cluff and we had to arrive in Recife at 9:00 a.m. for a meeting with President Woodruff. However, that week all of the buses in Recife were on strike. And being that my área is a hour and a half away from Recife, we were in Trouble. We left our house Nice and early that day. We had heard rumors that there were a few buses working...well after about an hour and a half of waiting for a bus in vain, we decided to get a rogue van that was going to Boa Viagem, which is about half an hour away from Recife. Once we got there we were obviously waiting in Vain again for a different bus. So, knowing that we had to be at the meeting at 9:00 a.m. we started to walk...and walk...well it turns out that Elder Finley isn’t so street smart in Recife and he really didn’t know how to get there other than using the buses....but the Lord saw our desire and provided a way. A black chevy blazer stopped and offered us a ride, now accepting a ride from strangers isn’t the brightest idea to do in Brasil, but they were both in suits and appeared trustworthy...so we got in. Well, to make the story short we were able to get to the meeting on time. And it turns out that the two people in the car, well one was a federal Judge, and the other one whas his body guard/ Driver. Who happened to be a “mórmon” but is inactive. In this experience I really gained a testimony that the lord Will always provide a way for us to do the right thing. We just need to do all we can first, and then He Will do the rest.
