Neat Story:
Chad bore his testimony in a family email on August 11, 2009: "I am SO grateful to have been given the chance to serve a mission! The mission has absolutely changed my life and turned me into a whole new person! I know if I had not served a mission, I would have missed out on SO many amazing opportunities to grow and learn, but more importantly, to help other people be saved in the kingdom of God! I knew before I left that "Jesus is the son of God".... but now I KNOW... really KNOW that he is MY savior! Not only do I trust His Identity as the son of God, but I trust HIM! I trust His words! I trust him when he says that he can make me clean and pure! I know that he took upon himself my sins individually as he did everyone elses! I know that on conditions of repentance, I can return and dwell in the presence of my Heavenly Father! I know that the atonement is the greatest act of love ever brought to pass, and the only way that we can be reconciliated with God again is by applying it in our lives!! I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ and that through Him, the true Gospel was restored in its fullness so that we can partake of the blessings and ordinances of eternal life! I know that we have a prophet that leads and guides us today! I am SO grateful for the counsels He has given me so that I can better myself and perfect my self! Please tell all of the youth, especially the young men, that the mission is the most amazing experience that they could possibly have! It will change their eternity! The mission has helped me understand the atonement of Jesus Christ which has in turn, saved my life. Literally has saved my spiritual life and has given my hope to live with my family forever! I love my Heavenly Father and am so GRATEFUL for the blessings I have! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!"
