Favorite Scripture:
St. John 15:15-18
15. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17. These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

Neat Story:
Yesterday a family came to pick up there daughter "Sister Hanson" (she was in the MTC with me) I could see how much she had changed since the mtc and I was thinking how much I have changed. My changes came in the Elder Haub not in my personality Or in myself as Devin, but in my understanding of Christ and Heavenly Father, the principles offaith, love and service. I've learned a lot and mainly am learning how to become a servant of God. President Watterson said that When they were called to serve as mission president, President Faust said that the success of there calling as mission president was not determined by the number of baptisms but was determined in 10,20 and 30 years down the road. They should see all the missionaries become Leaders, Good husbands and Wives. President last night said to the Departing missionaries that they have all brought people into the church and have learned a lot on their missions but the success of their missions will be determined in 10,20 and 30 years when they will be church leaders who served in the MIGHTY Baltic Mission. I've noticed lately that Who I am right now "ELDER HAUB" is a different person than I will ever be again in my life. I love this time and the mantel that comes with Elder Haub. Elder Glauser and I were talking about that as we looked at our reflections in the window on the street, We look like servants of God, We look GOOD. The name tag and all. We both feel the urgency that there are many who are going to be baptized this month. We can teach and baptize in any language here in Latvia. It really is a Power Companionship it would be a shame to not put forth the extra effort and find those who god has prepared for us to bring unto him. Mom,I was talking to Sister Watterson Last night about You. She has had 4 kids serve missions and she said the last 2 months for her were the worst cause she just had all kinds of thoughts about them not making home cause of accidents and stuff like that. I was telling her that it is probably harder for you than it is for me to be away. She agreed that is harder for the parents. Haha I stay busy and do what I do but you have that motherly love that makes the time away harder. I love you and miss you sometimes but not to often cause I love being here. (sorry)
