We had another huge rainstorm. On the way to our apartment we walked through a dip in the ground and the water went up to our waist. It was crazy, and we got pictures.
Latest Adventure:
There was a stabbing at our complex with a swat team, tons of police and caution tape. Some girls told us what happened, and then they and their neighbor accepted missionaries! So at least some good has come from the sad event.
Weirdest Food Eaten:
Eats normal food, but held a snake!
Most Missed Food:
German pancakes, Mom's casseroles
P-day activities:
We had the funnest p-day ever. We played ultimate frisbee and water games. We were excited since most of us haven't done anything with water since we came. It is so hot. Then the members gave our zone
Favorite Scripture:

"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever." Alma 26:12
Neat Story:
Thank you so much for all of the letters, I really appreciate it. Thank you dad for writing me a letter, it was just what I was needing. This week was packed full of events. Heavenly Father really did bless us.
We received a referral but found out that it was non-existent. In trying to contact them we knocked on a door and found another lady. She said, "Oh did my friends and sister send you?" We never did receive a referral for her so it is a miracle we found her. She had watched General Conference with a member friend and her sister who is a convert to the church. She agreed to take the discussions and we brought a member with us, Sister Dilts who later took her dinner and invited her to the community chili cook off that the church puts on each year for Halloween.
Heavenly Father is VERY aware of her. We felt prompted to stop and see her when we were headed to another appointment. When she answered the door she was crying and told us that this wasn't a good time. We knew we needed to get in so I followed my first prompting and gave her a hug. Then the neighbor across from her came out the door, and she didn't want to be seen in that condition so she invited us in and explained the reasons for her sadness. We listened and I shared one of my favorite scriptures from the Book of Mormon in Mosiah about how our burdens can be lifted. She then told us something very interesting. She said that every time something went really wrong or she felt she shouldn't meet with us or learn more, something would happen. One time when she felt this way Sister Dilts randomly called her up to go to this activity. Another time she was going to tell us that she wasn't interested and then she received a call from her sister who encouraged her to follow through and try it out. Now, once again she was going through a trying experience and right in the thick of it we stopped by. She told us she could tell that God doesn't want her to give up on this yet. We will be teaching her a lesson on Thursday.
It is so great to teach with Sister Edghill, we never have any problems and so when we go through challenges it is a lot easier to handle.
The other man we found and taught is Jose. We were talking to Rusty one day and he over heard us. As we were leaving he yelled "Hey, how do you know I don't want to learn about the Bible?" So we went and taught him. He is a very nice man in his twenties. We taught him the first lesson and we didn't even invite him and he asked us when and where church was.
This week we did exchanges and I went with a sister from Tonga and one from another cool country. It was a lot of fun. I am kind of sad because I believe I will be leaving the area this next transfer and I will miss these people a lot, and I will especially miss being Sister Edghill's companion, we are so perfect for each other, sad day.
Well I'm out of time. I love you all.
Love, Sis. DeMille.
