Hello Everyone!
Hi, I had a great transfer! I really enjoyed the time I had to spend with Elder Elderhard and I got to see his mom and brother when he left, he looked just like his brother!
Well, Bonnie got married to Jon and then she got baptized this week-end… it’s all coming together for them I hope. I got to be the one who performed the ordinance, it was my second time ever in my life, so it was way cool. I only had to redo it once which isn’t bad (her foot came up, I forgot to tell her to bend her knees).
I like my new companion Elder Bagley, even though he is one of them Utah-boys! He’s from West Jordan, so he’s been living in the Valley for a while. We get along well, which is good, let’s just hope that that lasts for another six more weeks.
I made bread today! I got the recipe from Scott Merrill in the Singles Ward (Valentine Ward) and bought the stuff to make it this morning. It only just finished baking when we left to go email, so I didn’t get a chance to sample my awesomeness as a baker!
We’ve been working hard, mostly introducing people/investigators to my new companion, but we are still trying to work with part-member families so that we can strengthen our teaching pool.
I think I forgot to mention it before, I don’t remember, but I was able to go to Oakland with Elder Eberhard and see Heidi and Sherman Jones get sealed together! IT was just perfect… I loved being able to witness a sealing. It made me so happy to be able to see people who love the Lord with all their hearts, and love each other so much… It was just special…
We celebrated Pioneer Day this week in the whole Fresno California West Stake! It was really fun and I got to see a bunch of people dressed up like… pioneers… Anyway we had a pancake breakfast and hung around with people. We did have some of the less active people we had invited to it come, so that was good!
