Neat Story:
We had a strong testimony meeting of one testimony given by a great member here. She talked about her testimony of the atonement and she then talked of a great concept which I hadn't really thought of. She said that we should try to be grateful to the Lord for him atoning not only for us but also for our loved ones. I really thought deeply about this and can truly say I am so grateful that Christ not only atoned for my sins, but yours also, and Dad's and Greg's and Stevens, and so on and so forth. I love you and hope you will continue to feel my love. I know that prayers have real power. I am sure you have probably read them but Elder Bednar's talks on prayer from April and October of this year really helped me to change my perspective on prayer. Hope things are going well. Things are short this week because of zone conference. Merry Christmas....thanks for the letters....I'll try to write back when I have time....Elder Kevin Northrup
