Latest Adventure:

Kodiak Island sounds wonderful. Soon it will be time for the grey whale migration, & people travel from all over the world to see them swim by.

Weirdest Food Eaten:

muktuk, caribou, horseshoe rabbit, moose

Most Missed Food:

homemade cookies, beef jerky

P-day activities:

In Anchorage, E. Metcalf did alot of moose tracking & some fishing, but he's not big on details in emails, so I'll have to ask him next wk about P-Day.

Favorite Scripture:

Neat Story:

I did fly and the guys sitting next to me were professional guides and it was the greatest plane ride ever. They said they charge $20,000 for a Kodiak bear hunt with no guarantee of success; it is a 10 day hunt and all plane fare and food is included once you get to Anchorage and they take the middle of the day when the bears are hard to find to fish for salmon. It was a blast just to hear them tell hunting stories with dumb clients. Kodiak is BEAUTIFUL. If only I spoke Tagalog.
