Feb 2008 -- Elder Scott serves as the District Leader for the Riga Imanta area. His companion is Elder Rasmussen who was in his MTC district. They are working very hard teaching and training.

Latest Adventure:

Elder Scott wrote us this week that he will be coming back home on August 6th. He really loves his mission!

P-day activities:

Visits museums and other interesting places; writes emails home.

Neat Story:

"Missionaries speak Russian at district meetings if a Russian missionary (native) is there. That means us because we have a cool Siberian sister. Zone meetings are bi-ligual or tri-lingual, and officiated by Pres. Watterson so Russian is not spoken except when we practice teaching in our mission languages. My mission is three countries and 5 languages. Cool. There is the Croatia Mission that is like 7 countries and 9 languages, which is even cooler, but they dont have missionaries that get to serve in all 7 I don't think."
