Favorite Scripture:
"And now, my beloved brethren, I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved."
--Omni 1:26
Neat Story:
We’ve had a major week for finding people to teach this past week and a great experience Sunday. Gabriel got baptized. Finally. He is going to get confirmed this Sunday by probably me. I am a little nervous about that but it will be fine. Also on Sunday we had 6 investigators in church. We also found like 5 other new investigators last week so Elder Lewis and I have our work cut out for us. This transfer is going to go by really fast. I don’t want to leave because the mission work is just growing and growing here. We have had much success with opening the members up and this baptism was a great experience for them to feel the joy that comes when a new person enters into the strait gate. We are teaching the daughter of one of our recent converts who is 16. She came to church last week and accepted the commitment to read and to pray. She could be a golden investigator. We will see. We have an appointment with her tomorrow.
