Hello my friends!
How are you all doing? I am doing great, another week gone and less time to lose here in the lords work:) So how are you all doing there? How are the hunting seasons treating you hunters? The weather here must know I miss the mountains because it has been pretty cool lately a very rare thing here in Manaus:) the mountains miss me:) So today we went on a little forest trail walk, this is one forest I wouldn't want to be lost in, I am sure i would die:) I saw a walking tree:) this grow itīs roots into the ground like legs and when one breaks it wonīt plant the next root into the same spot so he slowly moves:) Pretty cool huh, itīs kinda like Lord of the Rings:) So it was a fun trip I will try to send pics out soon:)So I am pretty sure my comp will be transfered here this next Monday, He has 7 months in this area, so I may have a new comp next week:) I like getting new comps it helps me to learn how to learn everyone:) So we didnīt have any baptisms this past weekend but we should have 2 this weekend. The work is going great, we are teaching 2 awesome families, one that lives right next to us, we will be marrying the one that lives next to us in October:) I am really loving the work here, every day is better, sometimes it is really hot but it is all worth it:) My mom sent me a sweet scripture passage Matthew7:24, which basically talks about how we need to be doers of what we believe. I have always believed that and tried to do it, I am not perfect but I know in time we can become so if we do what god would have us do. I wanted to tell you all that I love you all so much, please vote for a good president, like John McCain:) lol I really love you all and hope the best for you all. Remember that Christ loved you all first before you even took you first breathe here on earth. Do something for Him if it is at all possible:) I try everyday and still feel like nothing but I know He will give me the strength I need everyday if I will only follow His example:)
Congrats to Mark Esplin and His really Nice buck, way to make me homesick:) Love you alll so much!!!!I really wish I could just sit with you all and truly express to you all what |I am feeling right now!! I love my savior and all of you so much. When we find Christ in our eyes we will truly know our purpose here in life. Like Mufasa told simba in the lion King, remember who you are. All of us are children of God and He wants us to be happy it is us that make our lives harder. Grandma donīt give up keep doing what is right in your Heart, remember there is more to life and death than meets the eye, just ask God he will show you:) I love you all, and Erik keep doing what is right, trust me it will pay off in the end:) I love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
