Neat Story:
Elder Evans has traveled down a long rough road to get to this point in his life. He recently wrote saying "I'm so excited to serve! That's not to say that I do not get homesick everyday but, I know that the things I'm so grateful for back home are my greatest blessings and this is my feeble attempt to pay Him back. I give Him two years and He gives me eternity with my family. Well, when you do the math it's kind of a no-brainier. Elder Evans' family is extremely proud of him!
(recent letter) "It's been a good week. The mayor of the wealthiest District in Lima was interested in our message so he invited us to use the entire central plaza! It was incredible for missionary work! There were hundreds of us. My companion, I and others were asked to teach in the central plaza while others directed them to us. We taught a ton of people. We got over 2,000 referrals that day!
