Hey,
Greetings from the City of Atwater! So how’s the beach? Sorry I didn't write yesterday but the library isn't open on Mondays so we have to wait until Tuesday. So Atwater is different, its tiny, we have a car but we bike all the time, we can bike across it in like 20 min. But we use the car to go to church which is in Merced. We share the branch with the zone leaders, and Elder Saragar (MTC companion) is a zone leader. They cover the Merced part of the branch and we cover the Atwater part. Our branch is tiny, only 4 priesthood holders! And like all but 6 of the members live in Merced. But there are a lot of Hispanics here, and we have a few investigators, a lot just need to get married. We are working with a couple- Juan and Veronica, and they are great, they just need to get married, and their kids have already been baptized. This first couple of days has been hard, it’s been like running around blind, because there haven’t been missionaries here for like 6 weeks, so a lot of the investigators haven't talked to missionaries for awhile. But it’s fun. So to answer the questions, I’m not the driver, and we live in an apartment that we had to clean after we arrived because no one had lived there for awhile. My companion is Elder McCord, he is from UT, and he has been out the same time as Elders Robbins and Williamson. He’s a really good guy. So its interesting being on the bike all day, and not use the car, get a lot more exercise ;) but we get to talk to a lot more people. And the majority is Spanish. so I left Modesto pretty well, Lizbeth, Ana's daughter said she wants to be baptized, and Irene got baptized last Sunday, and I was going to be able to baptize but I got transferred! Oh well, it's going to be fun here. I’m going to have to learn to cook a lot better because we have like no dinners here because there’s no members here. But everyone is really nice here. Well I hope all is well and that you have fun.
