Chris returned home from his mission due to illness in November 2007.
After 13 months, his health was restored and he was able to return to the Alabama Birmingham mission on December 22, 2008.
Neat Story:
Alright... well first off thanks for the birthday wishes!!! I feel like such an
old man-boy. ha!! My comp and I are having fun but his health is struggling.. he
has pretty much every symptom I had when I had my problems.. I'm just glad I get
to be his companion so I can have compassion.. its kinda like the atonement!
I've suffered these same pains and I know how to better help build him up.. kind
of like how the savior knows all of our strengths and weaknesses. He has
experienced them already so he can help us deal! its so much easier than goin
about it alone.
I am loving this area more and more.. this ward is pretty strong. and We have a
baptismal date with our investigator Gabby.. she's 17 so she is having a hard
time getting the permission from her parents.. we need prayers that this will go
through!!
She has an awesome testimony.. its so amazing to see the progression of others.
and also to see how families can be strengthened in the gospel just by doin
missionary work and having the Elders in your home. Missionaries need to hear
that they are appreciated from time to time...
I am loving this experience!
And please pray for me to obey the rules better... I just like to have too much
fun! ha
Well I love Yall and hope to hear from some of you, or all of you!
Thank you for the support and love!
