Hey!!
Ok so to start off. Elder Ferrell is being transferred to Homer and I’m staying here and my address is staying the same. My new companion is Elder Ferrell’s MTC companion, Elder Lo....all I know is I have to learn it to be able to hopefully be able to speak it and understand well enough so that possibly I become a missionary in the Hmong branch in Eagle River. So we’ll see what happens and if I do end up learning Hmong.
Oh, and I am the designated driver this transfer so at least I get to drive. And they are getting rid of our Caliber and we’re getting a 2008 Chevy Colorado!
Well Harmony’s baptism didn’t happen. It should be happening soon though. Our teaching pool is pretty low right now so we have to do a lot of finding here in the next few weeks but that comes with the territory as a missionary right?
Some way cool news from up here. There is a video on YouTube called Cuppy Cake Sam, and if you haven’t seen it yet, type in “Cupcake Boy” on YouTube and watch it because it is so funny. Well the kid in there is Sam Allred, who’s brothers are in my ward and has another brother serving in the Denver North Mission, currently in Loveland. Sam has had kidney problems his whole life so he has to be on steroids which make his cheeks way huge. This video on YouTube got over 3 million hits and people at CBS saw it and they want to do an episode of the TV show “The Doctors” and see if they can fix his problem for free!! It couldn’t happen to a better kid or a better family!! They have 11 kids. Dan in my ward is 26 and he is going to Poland on his mission in January. And the youngest is 2. Big stretch there… but ya. Sam and his mom fly to California today to go see a bunch of doctors and stuff. Way cool!!
